しゃべる自販機
道路沿いや公共の場にたんさん自動販売機が置かれている。中には音声機能がついていて、ボタンを押したら「お買い上げありがとうございます...」などとしゃべるのもある。こうした自販機は女性の声で標準語でしゃべるのしか記憶にないけど、きょう缶コーヒーを買った自販機は男性の声でコテコテの関西弁をしゃべった。関西弁はこの地方の方言ではない。缶コーヒーを取り出すあいだも関西弁で何かしゃべっていたけど、へんな自販機。

Some of them have automated voices and say things like "Thank you for buying my products," when you press the button that dispenses the drink. As far as I can recall, these talking machines all have female voices and speak in standard Japanese. However, the machine I bought a canned coffee from today had a male voice and spoke in a distinctive Kansai dialect, which is not the local one here. It continued to say something more in the dialect while I was taking the can out of it. What a funny machine!
